The Down Side of Cigarette Taxes

Cigarette taxes are on the rise. Every time you turn around, new taxes are being added to the already hefty per pack pricetag on cigarettes around the world. Here in the United States,stop smoking, taxes are imposed by the State, so prices can vary widely depending on where you are.It's not too tough to conceive that,quit smoking now, as the cost of cigarettes goes ever higher, they become an attractive item for bootlegging on the black market. This has spawned new crime and even deaths. It's a sad thing indeed, that a product which will kill you if you use it, is causing people to shoot eachother in what are being called "cig-wars."
