I see dead people.......

Now, I didn't sign up for this part of my job at the hosptial! While in school, I have a job delivering food to the patients. If a patient is dead/has died, the nurses put a sign on the door that reads "please see nurse before entering". One slack ash nurse on the floor that has the most critical folks that failed to tell me a woman was going through the process of death while I was trying to get her (the sick woman) to eat a pop-cycle (nope, they do not train us in the kitchen what it looks like when a person is going through this). Poor woman was crossing over and I'm trying to intice her with an orange pop! ! That happened around 2 months ago. Last night I go into this room and see Mr. Joe-Bob "sleeping" and I put his tray down but something looks strange about Mr. Joe-Bob, his coloring is not quite right, and he looks a little too peaceful? Then,quit smoking, I notice all the machines are unhooked, wrapped nicely and then notice Mr. Joe-Bob's sheet where his belly is hasn't moved since I had been in there trying to figure all this newness out! I sit the tray of food down, open the door and the same slack ash nurse is walking out the other room across from me, she sees the concern on my face as I point back at Mr. Job-Bob and she LAUGHS and says he's dead, we are waiting on the mortician. Well, they just "didn't get around to" putting up the sign, however, they did have plenty of time to wrap the machines up. This sucks, it has messed up my head and I could hardly sleep last night picturing Mr. Joe-Bob laying there dead. Okay, I know at a hospital some folks die, however,stop smoking now, I am also figuring out that some nurses just SUCK!
