Just when you think you brought them up right

Lady Panthers Win Two Story date: 05/28/2008 By Paula Roberts Missy Kent steals third for Medomak Medomak Valley softball got their bats going in late innings to pull out a 10-2 win over county rivals Lincoln Academy on Memorial Day. The Lady Panthers improve to 9-3 with the win, and the Eagles fall to 3-10.Kayla Vannah collected the win (3B,quit smoking now,5H,2K), and Kassie Lincoln took the loss (3B,2K,13H).After three scoreless innings, Lincoln took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth. Brooke Cheney singled, stole second and scored on a Rebecca Rice sacrifice. Medomak tied the game in the home half of the inning when Missy Kent smashed a double, and Rachel Lee and Miranda Conary walked to load up the bases for an RBI single to Vannah.Lincoln reclaimed the lead in the 5th when Jesse Cummings walked and scored on an Emily Gould single.Medomak took the lead for good with a three run fifth inning. Ashley Hunt reached on an error, Rachel Keefe singled, Kent reached on a fielder's choice and Lee brought them around on a single and outfield error. The Panthers padded the score with six runs in the 6th. Melissa Ambridge and Olivia Jameson singled, Tessa Dodge belted a double, Hunt a single,smoking cessation, Keefe a two run single and Kent a RBI triple.Hitting for Medomak were Ambridge with 3 singles, Kent a triple and double, Dodge a double and single, Keefe 2 singles, and Jameson, Hunt, Lee and Vannah one each. Hitting for Lincoln were Monique Sirois, Gould, Rice, Cummings and Cheney one each.
