ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION BACK FROM INTERVIEW

HI ALL! Well I had to have knocked them dead. I did everything right. I was dressed nicely, smelled good, and on top of that as they showed me around the hospital almost every body said hi to me and was ecstatic that I may be coming back to work (being gone 7 years) Most of my old working buddies were still there. The only problem is the boss is new and he never knew me but I really made a statement when all these people came up and hugged me and said "you coming back?" and my answer to that was , If they will let me and then I looked at the new boss,quit smoking now, and most of them looked at him and said, you should hire her back because she was one of the greatest workers!! but, I should have known it would not happen today, they have 2 other applicants they have to look over and make their decision. One of them has high credentials and experience but they will not find somebody as experienced as me and plus the fact I worked for them before. The new boss walked me out, this after an hour of talking things like, pay rate, insurance,quit smoking, benefits, etc the whole 9 yards, as he was walking me out he said they will be "back in touch" I said hopefully soon. I also told them I could come to work before the holidays if needed. Oh, I hope I did not seem overly needy, because I am not, I have a job, it is just that I would like to go back to the hospital to work. Anyway, the pay was pennies less than what I told them I needed to be paid and the benefits are great so I told them I would like to start as soon as possible. We will see. But with all you guys praying and thinking of me, whatever happens will be for the best. That is all there is to it. I have such a wounderful family here on this BB, it just makes me swell with pride and puts a big old smile on my face. And I bet I got the job they just did not want to tell me that today. I am so very glad that I do not smoke anymore, because I would have been fidgety and nervous and as soon as I hit the parking lot I would have lit up. That thought never, ever entered my mind!
