Heather Crowe Succumbs to Lung Cancer

Heather Crowe, anti-smoking activist in Ottawa, Canada has succumbed to a 4 year battle with lung cancer. Ms. Crowe never smoked a day in her life. She did,quit smoking now, however,stop smoking now, work in restaurants where the air was blue with tobacco smoke for upwards of 40 years. Following her diagnosis of lung cancer, Heather devoted herself to raising awareness about the dangers of second hand smoke and helped create laws to protect people from it. Ms. Crowe's death comes just one week before the Smoke Free Ontario Act comes into effect in Ontario.
